A mixed case of delicious white and red wines by Vintage Roots
The Collectables Sauvignon Blanc x1 (New Zealand)
Lively Marlborough Sauvignon with powerful aromas of fresh melon, citrus, and passion fruit. The palate is weighty and concentrated with exotic fruits, a fresh natural acidity and a long finish.
Domaine de Petit Roubie Viognier x1 (France)
Viognier makes for rich and complex wines, and this example has candied fruit and minty aromas with a voluptuous mouthfeel and peachy taste.
Meinklang Gruner Veltliner x1 (Austria)
Werner Michlits is the winemaker at the fantastic biodynamic Meinklang Vineyards and here he makes a wine that is completely unblemished by oak. It will charm you with its mineral freshness and green fruits.
Domaine Bousquuet Malbec x1 (Argentina)
You can pick up the vanilla and spice that the oak brings without losing any of the fantastic plum, blackberry and cherry fruits that Malbec is famous for. A gutsy plate of pasta will work a treat with this multi-award-winning wine.
Tre Piume Corvina/Cabernet/Merlot x1 (Italy)
This has classic red cherry flavours as well as racy acidity that makes it such a great partner for pasta with ragu. Corvina is the grape used in Amarone wines, and here it is blended with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot to give a softer, smoother body. An excellent twist on a classic.
Cote du Rhone Rochecolombe x1 (France)
A fantastic nose of spice and wild strawberry is the first sign that you're on to a fantastic example of Rhône. With a mouth full of black fruits, serious weight and black peppery spice, this is one not to be missed.
