Excellent Tempranillo from La Mancha in Spain, made without the addition of sulphur - great for those who can have adverse reactions to 'conventional wines'. An easy-drinking style with lots of jammy red fruit.
Stunning ‘no added sulphur’ wine from Paul Mas in the Languedoc. 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Franc, this captures the warmth of the southern-French sunshine in the juicy black fruit flavours and the herbal/spicy finish is nicely appetising.
Giol Merlot x2 (Italy) 12.5% 75cl
As no sulphur is added to this excellent Italian Merlot, the aromas are free to leap out of the glass. The juicy fruit flavours and gentle tannins make this dangerously drinkable.
