C Hoy is a long-term ethical vegan, artist and educator.
An artist and printmaker based in Suffolk, with a background in fine art, C Hoy strives to aid activism through their art, from banners at demos and marches to raising awareness of global issues through their artistic practice at festivals.
Vegetarian for most of their life and vegan for nearly 17 years, their ethical veganism is the starting point for the Not Your… series.
At the heart of the work is the idea of autonomy: that every individual has a life of their own, with their own interests, experiences and desires and that their life should not be ours to control simply because we can.
